The Function Room has a maximum capacity of 40, so please confirm early to keith@lancashire.humanist.org.uk if you wish to be there in person.  This meeting will be a hybrid meeting and so a link will be sent to those who wish to join us remotely.
I will confirm by email to those who are able to attend personally and then send a separate link a few days before the meeting, to those who will be able to join remotely.

After the meeting (around 9pm), as usual, a group of us will be heading for a social drink at the Guild pub (just 2 minutes from the Oasis building on foot).  Anyone who wishes to join us for a social chat are welcome.

We have many on our mailing list who have not been able to make it to a meeting but you are always welcome.
Additionally, if there is something that you would like us to think about doing then please email the Chair at with any ideas.
If you are not on our email list and wish to join us on the evening then please email keith@lancashire.humanist.org.uk
November 15th – Inter Faith Week
As part of the UK wide effort, Lancashire Humanists are hosting a presentation, followed by Q&A, with Nick Briggs. Nick will be discussing his recent work under the title of “The Common Good”. He will be focussing on this from the perspective of a number of Humanists who took part in his research. However, as part of IFW we are opening this to guests of all beliefs to partake. We trust that this will be an interesting discussion, as part of the other events being held at UCLan for IFW.

Other events being held on the Wednesday are:
12.00 – 15.00
Student Centre, Lower Ground Floor
Table-Top Displays:
Representatives from various world beliefs will host a display and be available answer questions.

17.30 – 19.00
Function Room
Faith and Belief in the 21st Century:
Members from the Chaplaincy Team, representing different world views will form a panel to answer questions from the audience and partake in a discussion.

If you wish to take part in any of these sessions then please let us know via keith@lancashire.humanist.org.uk
