Awareness of Humanism is something that is spreading. Many people will perhaps already live by the ideals and values that align with Humanism, but be unfamiliar with the term “Humanism”..
They may just think of themselves as atheist or agnostic, or may not feel comfortable adopting any specific label. Humanists are a very diverse group of people with no one fixed set of ideas that are imposed on people and indeed we are encouraged to challenge ideas.
Humanists believe that we are all a part of the natural universe and there are no supernatural phenomenon or gods.
We follow the principle that we only have this one life and should make it as worthwhile as possible. We can do this by living a good, moral life and helping others around us.
